Equal Access Program
Helping more people access practical safety training.
The Equal Access Program helps reduce financial barriers for people who want training in firearms safety, personal protection, emergency readiness, and responsible preparedness.
Whether you are looking for assistance to attend training or want to help someone else access it, you are in the right place.
How the Program Works
- Community members contribute to support training access
- Individuals apply for financial assistance
- Funds are used to support approved applicants
- Assistance is offered based on need and available funds
- Contributions are applied where they are needed most
This approach keeps the process simple, respectful, and sustainable.
When possible, Creating Equality may also offer reduced-cost or no-cost training even without outside contributions. The Equal Access Program helps expand that capacity so more people can access training when cost would otherwise be a barrier.
Why This Matters
Community safety begins with belonging, and access is part of that.
When cost, fear, complexity, or lack of representation keeps people out of training, fewer people get the chance to build confidence, ask questions, and make informed decisions about their safety.
The Equal Access Program helps create:
- More opportunities to attend training
- Safer, more informed students
- Stronger, more prepared communities
Need assistance?
If cost is a barrier, financial assistance may be available for eligible training. Partial or full assistance may be offered depending on need and available funds.
Simple application. Reviewed with care and respect.
Want to support access?
Support access to training by contributing toward learning opportunities for people who may not otherwise be able to attend. Contributions help reduce barriers and expand access to practical safety education.
Not tax-deductible. Directly supports student access.
